What is Malware ? | Types of Malware explained
Your computer is your hero it can do anything for you and also very useful , the opposite is the malware , malware are villain these can damage your computer and it's very frustrating. But malware can be taken out also some of them do not , but today am going to talk about malware and types of malwares.
Malware - The full name of malware is malicious software , this software is specifically made to damage , corrupt , or to gain the authority of the system. There are so many malwares in the internet which can corrupt your system even offline like while sharing a pendrive which has malware can damage your system.
Virus
Virus is a piece of code which can multiply itself and has an detrimental effects such as corrupting the data and the system. Virus makes your data junk you cannot take any information if the data is corrupted by virus. Virus can be spread easily from one computer to another computer by copying, installing, any software or data which has virus. Once a virus enters in your computer it will infect other software or any data and can modify or disable the core functions or the application of the system making it corrupt , delete , or encrypt it which is the most frustrating thing for us. Some virus can replicate soon when it enters the system and can gain the control of the software.
Trojan
A trojan is any malicious computer program which misleads
Have you ever heard the story of the famous Greek story of the trojan war ? A huge beautiful wooden horse was constructed and some selected army were inside it . Then some people took the horse to the city because it was beautiful, then at night the army came out and attacked the city of troy and gain the control over it. Similar to this is the trojan where it changes its face into beautiful face in different and attractive terms to attract the user and once it gain access by the user the real face comes out where it corrupts the system not only this it makes a way for other malwares to enter the system and to gain the control over the system. For example if you go to any malicious website there will be so many attractive terms such as speed booster , fast internet browser , battery saver which tells the user to download it and when the user downloads it the system gets infected by trojan not only trojan but other malware too.
Worms
Worms are the most disturbing malware for any user. Worms multiples itself as many as it wants and spreads, taking unnecessary space making the system slow. If a computer is infected by worms it will make multiple copies of different files and multiple as many as it wants which takes unnecessary space so that your system fails and slow down. The most disturbing thing is that even if you delete all files it will multiple again and again making the system slow. Worms can also be spread from one computer to another computer.
Never try to download anything from any piracy site because it may contain virus or other malware , also do not believe in stupid ads and rerte which makes your computer smart you know thats not possible.
