Now days video games are so popular that nobody goes out to play but that's bad thing but do you know videos game were invented 60 years before ,yes it's true and today am going to talk about the history of video games. Today we have varieties of games which are payable in PC , playstation , Xbox and many more consoles so let's go back.
Tennis for two
So the first video game was invented by a physiciant William Higinbotham named tennis for two , this was the earliest video game . Tennis for two is a simple 2D tennis game which worked on analog computer and the game is multiplayer. But the game was boring , not everyone liked it because it was the first video game the graphics were not good and was not affordable because it was costly for the normal people. Then many varieties of games came like a card , puzzle , sports but all these games were not at all popular. So people did not show interest
Pong
Then came an inventer named Ralph Baer who is now called the father of video games. This man thought something different he thought that if the price of the TV cost low why can't we develop a system that connects the TV and can be played on TV, it is possible to play video games on TV with the help of that system and people can easily play on there TV . After many years of hard work Ralph Baer created a video game named 'pong' which original released in 1972 . A console that connects the TV and people can play video games on there TV. This game is basically a 2D table tennis game where two bats are there and one ball are involved and you have to move the bat up and down to hit the ball this also includes multiplayer where people can enjoy with family and friends. This game was so popular that it took one year to sell atleast 1 lakh units of it . The game is still popular even now. After that many video games system came with the same concept and many different video games cames.
Pac - man
Pac - man was also a super hit game developed by Namco and released in 1980.
This game was a simple 2D game where the player has to guide Pac - man in a maze which contains pac dots all around and also some 4 multicolour ghost. The goal of the game is to eat all the pac dots , but the ghost tries to kill pac man if the ghost kills you you lost a life. This game was an icon in the 1980s video games and was super hit in sale.
Duck hunt
Do you remember this game when you played In your childhood , you don't know but this game is one of the second best selling game for Nintendo entertainment system. This game was developed by Nintendo for the NES console in 1984 . This game is a light gun shooter video game where the players uses the NES zapper to shoot ducks which comes out from the grass. The duck comes out two or three times and the player has three shots to kill the duck which appears on television. Because of this the game was popular and super hit game for NES.
Mario Bros
This game was totally fantastic game and even popular in this generation. This game was so popular that it was best selling video game for Nintendo entertainment system everybody likes this game. This game was developed by Nintendo in 1983 and the character was made by Shigeru Miyamoto . The main objective of the game is to defeat all the creature in different phase by jumping on the head . After this many mario games came in different forms like sports , accard , puzzle , racing , adventure and many more . The most Popular game was the super Mario Bros where you have to rescue the princess from Browser.
Wolfenstein
You played many FPS games like COD , DOOM etc but do you know that Wolfenstein was the first FPS game which released on 1992 which was created by id software. It was the most successful FPS game and was an instant success in the market. And it was an 3D animation game.
Then in 1989 comes the prince of Persia which is a fantasy game developed by Broderbund and was designed for the Apple ll. This game was also popular and came in many different platforms.
Then comes the TEKKEN a fighting video game which was developed by Namco in 1994 . And this game was the first fighting game to use 3D animations and was made for the playstation. There are many characters where the player chooses thier favourite character and gets ready for hand to hand combat. This game was also popular game all time in 1990s

GTA was first developed by DMA design and published by BMG interactive for Microsoft Windows and MS- DOS in 1997. This GTA series where created by David Jones and Mike Dailly the later series were created by brother Sam and Dam houser. Now it is primarily developed by rockstar north and published by rockstar games. This is game is now the best fifth seller game. In this game you can do anything like killing , stealing , driving and there are several missions.

This games were the legendary games for the world this game was so popular that there were people standing in line for getting this game as it is the second best selling game for the Nintendo game boy. This game was developed by game freak and was published by Nintendo. This game was first created by a game designer named sathoshi tajiri who got inspired from his childhood hobbies as he catch and collected insects . The game is the same way where you have to battle , catch and collect creatures called Pokémon . The main goal of the game is to defeat all the eight gym leader and to collect all the eight badge , not only this you have to defeat all the 4 elites of the kanto region and become the champion of the indigo league. But the main objective is to collect all the 151 Pokémon by trading with your friends or by battling. This Pokemon is one of the favourite for the children , youth and also adult.
